Most companies have Facebook Fan Page and it’s really an effective way in Social Media Marketing. In this topic, I’ll be talking about Facebook and how to use it effectively.

 

Create an Interesting Facebook Fan page

Before you promote your business in Facebook, you need a Fan page. Not just Fan page, what I’m talking about here is something extra-ordinary. To be Successful in Facebook Marketing, you should need to consider how your Fan page would look like. In this part, you need to be CREATIVE…

  •  You would need an attractive Profile Banner. Who would want to follow a Fan page without an image? Having a Profile Banner is important as Followers would look at it before they will hit the LIKE button. First impressions last, at some point people judge you on how you impress them on your First meeting. It is everyone to be aware of and very important.   • You might want to try out  i-Frames. It’s a trend and everyone that has a Fan page used FBML and i-Frames for their Tabs. Design it like your website. Again, be CREATIVE.
  • Host a Contest and Games on your Fan page. Encourage your Followers to engage by giving contests and games and of course, a Prize. Who would want a boring community? Think of ways on how you can excite your Followers and believe me, you’ll be amazed on how they are bringing their friends with them.

Posting on your Facebook Fan page is easy as 1-2-3, but the question is, is it something of QUALITY? Let your brain work. Think, research and brainstorm. Your Fan page is your business’ reflection or representative in the Cyber World. You are what you post. People will judge you on how useful your contents are and how it can be a help. Avoid “Shameless Plugging” instead, be a “Valuable Resource”. Share interesting and helpful content you found in the internet or maybe a Video that can help people on their everyday life. Do not be afraid to spread the links of others (I check to see if they follow the same marketing etiquette as I subscribe to)

 Be Consistent

Update regularly your Facebook Fan Page . It is very important, nobody want a Fan page that is silent and USELESS. Your Fan page doesn’t work by itself; it needs a captain to navigate the controls. If you want to be effective in Social Media Marketing, you need to dedicate your time and effort by checking your Facebook Fan Page and Sharing QUALITY Content REGULARLY. (Wink). It is recommended to post updates minimum twice a day and encourage feedback by posting questions and seeking the input of you audience

Grow your Followers

This is the part where you can really say if you are using Social Media Effectively by the numbers of your ACTIVE Followers. You would want a larger ACTIVE community involved with your Facebook Fan Page, which means more traffic on your Website, thus, more sales. It’s a simple logic actually, by using Social Media Effectively, Growing more Followers and getting massive traffic on your site, equals to increase in SALES.  But at the same time you need to focus on gaining followers who are seriously interested in your Niche. Just having large numbers of followers does not always Create Cash Flow.

  1. I read a little about “Deals”. Are they any value in building interest in your fan page?

      Deals, when set up correctly work for those Fans who have SMART PHONES and know How to “check in”
      The whole process does require a short learning curve.
      We feel they can be very effective if the client base fits the mold
