Do you use videos on your website and look forward to traffic and increased SEO authority?

Video has become a major venue for communication over the past couple of decades. Social Media sites such as Facebook and X have tons of videos posted daily. I am not referring to the short videos found on TikTok, but rather videos of length and solid content.

One of my social media marketing clients, The Geneva Shore Report Newspaper in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin posts several LIVE videos daily on their Facebook page, and then the “embed code” is captured and put on their News Website

Videos keep people on your website longer and engage them with your content. People work with people, and video helps people get to know, like, and trust you. Videos keep your audience interested, no matter your product or service.

BUT the question is should we incorporate our Videos on our website, and by which method?

There have been discussions about using EMBED Code for your YouTube Videos or the SHARE link. Both are easy to apply and have advantages. According to Neil Patel, in his articleIs it Better to Embed Videos or Link Them?” ,

If you want to include videos on a website, the better option is to embed videos

I found the reasoning sound and suggest you visit his site and read more. I have seen the SEO benefits on several client websites, and am using this method on my other websites. They have helped grow my business and those of our fabulous clients.
